About Tim Tedder
Tim Tedder is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor living in Carmel, Indiana (USA) who coaches individuals and couples from around the world.
While he has addressed various issues related to hope and healing in his counseling practices, his driving purpose is to help individuals and couples turn the snags of affair recovery into springboards for healing and change.
In 2009, he created AffairHealing.com, which has become a popular online recovery resource. He then published his first book, Affair Healing: A Manual for Betrayed Spouses, which was eventually expanded into an online course. He also produces The Affair Recovery Room weekly podcast.
After receiving his Master's in Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, Tim practiced in Muncie, IN, before eventually joining a counseling practice in central Florida. In 2013, Tim opened Currents Counseling Services in Orlando, working with co-counselors Sharon and Jennifer and focusing on affair recovery therapy.
In 2019, he returned to Carmel, Indiana to be closer to family. He conducts video sessions from his home office while developing and expanding online affair recovery resources. Tim’s current focus is on helping unfaithful partners understand their behavior and build a more secure, fulfilling relationship.
Personal Trivia
As a child, Tim spent summers traveling with his preaching father and singing parents.
He spent many years writing music, singing, and playing his 12-string guitar.
If you’re standing in a group and notice a cockroach skittering across the floor, don’t worry; it’s guaranteed to run up Tim’s pant leg.
He’s played the lead in several musicals, his favorite being the role of Capt. Von Trapp in professional productions of The Sound of Music.
