About Tim

Tim Tedder is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor living in Carmel, Indiana (USA) who coaches individuals and couples from around the world.

While he has addressed various issues related to hope and healing in his counseling practices, his focus is on helping clients work through affair recovery issues. In 2009, he created AffairHealing.com, which has become a popular online recovery resource. He then published his first book, Affair Healing: A Manual for Betrayed Spouses which was eventually expanded into an online course.

After receiving his Masters in Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, he practiced in Muncie, IN before eventually joining a counseling practice in central Florida. In 2013, Tim opened Currents Counseling in the Orlando area, working with co-counselors Sharon and Jennifer focusing on affair recovery therapy. In 2019, he returned to Indiana to be closer to family, joining the Renewal Counseling team in Carmel.

In 2022, Tim left Renewal to spend more time developing new affair recovery resources. While still offering coaching and counseling, he will be creating new podcasts, courses, and training materials through his Currents Services LLC.
